Steve is a fifth generation Boisean. He met his wife, Margaret, while attending Meridian High School. Three years after graduation they were married in Ogden, Utah and have been married 31 years. They have two sons, Aaron and Matthew, and two daughters, Jenny and Stephanie. Aaron is finishing his doctorate degree at the University of Arizona, Matt is finishing up his EMT training with the Idaho Army National Guard and will be returning to Boise State University to finish his degree. Jenny is married and attending Utah Valley College in Orem Utah, and Stephanie attended Boise State University where she played on the Womens Soccer Team. She is currently in South Korea with her husband, Justin, a helicopter mechanic in the US Army. She currretly is playing soccer for the Soeul Womens's soccer team and is teaching English to Koren business men and grade school girls. Steve & Margaret have five grandchildren, Sammy age 8, Josh age 7, Athena age 4, Zach age 3, and the newest Loni born the end of last year.

Prior to joining Windermere, Steve spent 13 years as a marketing consultant for a national telecommunications firm and 15 years as a stockbroker and financial planner. His ability to market homes and his knowledge of financing bring a high level of expertise to his clients. Steve attended Boise State University, College of Business, and majored in Business Marketing.

Committed to the youth of Boise, Steve has coached sports such as Little League Baseball, soccer, and basketball. He has a lifetime commitment to the Boy Scouts of America where as a young man earned his Eagle Scout. He has served in numerous adult leader positions, including Scoutmaster and Explorer Advisor. For their 25th wedding anniversary Steve and his wife Margaret took up alpine skiing as a gift to each other and have enjoyed Idaho snow ever since. Other activities include hiking in the Boise foothills, river rafting the Salmon and Payette rivers, and camping in the Sawtooth Mountains.
